CAPITOL PUBLIC HEALTH COURSES FOR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) IN NURSING AND LABORATORY SCIENCES – DECEMBER 2016

We haveproducedthis booklet on Public Health courses to help our students to have all these lectures in one document instead of photocopying each lecture notes. They will just have to pay for the printing cost. In CAPITOL ‘hope is the key’, it is for that reason that we have compiled these public health notes to enable the students achieve their expectation, acquire the Higher National Diploma in Nursing (HND)and laboratory sciences.

These lecture notes have been produced based on the original syllabus of the Public Health elaborated by the Ministry of Higher Education for students studying nursing and laboratory sciences to obtain the Higher National Diploma in Nursing and in laboratory sciences. We have made references to several books of public health, epidemiology, infection prevention, environmental sanitation, pesticides and herbicides; etc; listing them will be very long; thus we acknowledge that some of the statements are from these reference books.

We do not pretend to have produced an exhaustive book of Public Health.
We have developed some pedagogic methods of explaining the lectures to students to enhance their understanding.

We wish our students success in Public Health in the exams for HND in nursing.

Thanks be to The Almighty God, Through Jesus Christ!

ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION LECTURES FOR FACULTIES OF HEALTH SCIENCES

ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION LECTURES FOR FACULTIES OF HEALTH SCIENCES

We have produced this collection of Environmental Sanitation Lectures to help our students have all these lectures in one document instead of photocopying each lecture notes. They will just have to pay for the printing cost.

These lecture notes have been produced based on the syllabus of the Environmental Sanitation developed by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

We have made references in several books of public health, epidemiology, infection prevent, environmental sanitation, EPI Norms and Standards Cameroon, pesticides and herbicides; etc; listing the references will be very long so we acknowledge that some of the statements are from these reference books. We do not pretend to have produced an exhaustive document on environmental sanitation. We have developed some pedagogic methods of explaining the lectures to students to enhance understanding. We wish our students success in environmental sanitation examinations; we implore our students to apply what they have learnt in their daily life and to educate the population in the light of what they have studied in environmental sanitation.

Students retain courses better by reading from hard copies than from electronic versions.

We believe that it is not good to hide this document in a drawer.

Thanks be to The Almighty God, Through Jesus Christ! AMEN!
