COMMUNITY HEALTH INTERNSHIP IN BAMBUI AND BAMBILI HEALTH AREAS

Community health internship is an exercise that is carried out by nursing students of CAPITOL to diagnosehealth problems and health related problems in a community. The study is made using a questionnaire to interview households and synthesis is made with a soft ware elaborated by me.These studies were carried outin Bambui and Bambili Health Areas.

These reports were given to local health authorities as a feedback in order that they should use them to try to solve the health problems identified.

Performance of Health Districts can only be appreciated through such a study not by routine statistics.

We have published this so that other schools can join us to improve the health system. Routine statistics which are sometimes rare and cumbersome to analyse could be complementedby such a study.
